Michael Crabtree, the diva wide receiver out of Texas Tech, has finally agreed to a deal with the San Francisco 49ers. All I have to say is,IT'S ABOUT TIME!!
On one hand, I really, really wanted him to go back into the draft, just to watch him fall and fall in the draft next year. And trust me, he would have. No team would have wanted any part of him in the first round, maybe even the second. After his child-like standoff, I don't think any team would have wanted to deal with him.
But on the other hand, if he turns into the receiver he thinks he is, the 49ers have just gotten under contract an All-Pro type of receiver, and all this holdout nonsense will be but a footnote in history. But if he busts, this will be his legacy. Good luck with that, Crabtree.
